“Soon
we’ll
have
the
technology
to
just
reverse
climate
change.”

It’s true that some of the world’s brightest minds are working on ways to reverse the effects of fossil fuels. But even that combination of brain power isn’t near an effective cure yet.

Atmospheric CO2 levels have already reached 416 parts per million.

The reality here, is that the innovative technologies we’ve been working on aren’t even close to removing the roughly 50 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases we emit each year.

Currently, carbon capture technology does have the ability to suck CO2 out of the air, but it doesn’t have the scale needed to halt climate change – let alone keep pace with the rate of global warming we are trying to overcome. We need to act now with the renewable energy tech we already have, otherwise there won’t be much left for carbon capture to save when it’s finally ready.
